Do you work with specific metals like steel, aluminum, or stainless steel?

We work with stainless steel, steel, and aluminum, and can offer multiple processes on any ferrous material. For aluminum, we have found that TIG welding is generally the best process, but we can TIG, MIG, or stick weld any steel-based material.

What is the typical lead time for custom metal fabrication projects?

It all depends on the scope of your project. Obviously, larger projects require more planning and management to implement successfully. Conversely, if we can fix you up and get you on your way while you wait, we’re always happy to do so if possible. Contact us today to talk about your project needs.

Can you help with design and engineering, or do you only work from provided plans?

I can provide a breadth of real-world fabrication and metal work experience, and have extensive experience reading measured drawings, and improving upon them for practical applications and fabrication realities. However, I am not a licensed engineer, so larger projects needing a stamp will need signing off on before coming to me.

What industries do you specialize in or have experience with?

My experience has run the gamut: from sensitive government installations, to blockbuster motion picture work, to fixing my wife’s horse trailer. There’s no job too big, too small, or outside of my abilities. Get in touch today.

What is your service area in and around Atlanta?

A 25 mile radius from Atlanta, GA gives me the best ability to service your requirements without needing to require a trip fee. I am available to go farther for jobs with a large enough scope.

Do you offer installation services for fabricated products?

If your project requires installation to be complete, then installation is absolutely a part of the finished job. That said, we also pride ourselves delivering a finished product that should not require speciality installation. Should the product need to be shipped long distance and installed by different team, they will have no problem.

How do you handle custom or large-scale projects?

It doesn’t matter how custom or how large a project is, we pride ourselves on providing the very same level of attention, regardless of physical scope or level of detail. Every custom project is important, every job has value.

What is the process for getting a quote or estimate?

Get in touch with us! You can contact us here. Please provide as much detail about the project in the initial contact as possible, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Can you accommodate rush or expedited orders?

We always do our do our best to meet every criteria our clients need. If we are able to create an end product you’re satisfied with in an expedited timeframe, we will do it, but we won’t sacrifice the integrity of the final product.

What is your quality control process?

Quality is the first consideration at JF Fabrication and our main source of pride. As every custom project is different, there is no standardized process, but we keep our customers in the loop every step of the way, and our customers are always satisfied at the end.

Do you provide finishing options like painting, powder coating, or galvanizing?

While we don’t have in-house finishing, we have relationships with vendors that offer any finishing options you could care to pursue. Ask us early on in the process to ensure timely delivery and to not delay the project, and we can make it happen.

How do you handle shipping and delivery for large or heavy projects?

Amateurs study tactics, professionals study logistics. We are located in the Southeast region’s largest transport hub, and if you are in the Atlanta area, we are conveniently located off Interstate 20, which makes everywhere easy to get to.

Do you offer repair or modification services for existing metal structures?
